VASTU TIPS FOR INDUSTRIAL LAND

Even during current times, many people are consulting ancient science of Vastu, right from selection of plot (whether for residential or commercial purposes) to construction plan and use post construction. Plot selection is of great importance since the plot has a fixed value (location, shape, etc.) and will emit energy whether positive or negative energy depending on its location (surroundings & orientation), shape, slope and soil.  Generally, people do not consult a Vaastu Expert at the time of buying plot but it is advisable to consult one right from the beginning as these inputs could be very helpful in selecting the right option.

Vaastu Expert will keep the Vastu principle in mind while selecting a site instead of focusing on commercial & other aspects of plot. Even if you have already purchased a plot, one should still go through the Vastu Guidelines as most of these guidelines are based on scientific reasoning and few on common sense.

  • LOCATION (surrounding & orientation)
  • PLOT SHAPE
  • PLOT SLOPE
  • PLOT SOIL

Find below tips for Vastu for Industrial plots:

Plot’s geometrical axis should be aligned with earth’s magnetic axis i.e. one of the plot side should be parallel to the north-south while other to east-west direction. Non-aligned plot is considered poor for overall growth, peace and happiness.

Additionally, shape, slope, soil of the plot should be examined for their compliance with the Vaastu principles and where required, necessary changes should be done.

Slope of Industrial Plot should be towards North or East facing Northeast. This means the land should be higher in south and west and lower in North and east. Levels in the south east and north west should be more or less equal. This further implies that Northeast should be at the lowest and Southwest at highest level.

Shape of Industrial plot should be a square at best or rectangle with length and breadth below 1:2 in ratio. If depth is more than twice the width, it has poor growth.

Odd shaped plots as triangle, round, etc. are considered poor.

Possible effects of odd shaped industrial plots can be

Circular shaped industrial plot: Increases mental capabilities;

Triangular shaped industrial plot: Loss due to fire, Govt. harassment, Penalty etc. Parallelogram shaped industrial plot: Financial losses, Quarrels in family.

Star shaped industrial plot: Quarrel and litigations, Destruction of peace.

Further the angles of the sides of Industrial plot should all be 90 degrees.

For example, a square shaped plot with ratio of two adjacent sides 1:1 and all corners as 90 degrees angle is best for overall growth. Alternatively, South west should be 90 degrees, North west and south east angle should be 90 degrees or more while North east 90 degrees or less.

The symmetrical geometry of shape is good in general.

Location and direction of Industrial plot:

Avoid plots with graveyard or tomb next to your plot as in front, back or sides. Plot should be away from schools, colleges or cinema theatre. Avoid plots where rain water from the roof of the neighborhood falls. No heavy / big structure as tall building be located towards north east of your industrial plot as it might ruin your mental peace. However, if the high-rise building, mountains, etc. are located in south, south west or west, then it is worth purchasing the plot.

Industrial plot with Water body as canal, river, etc. in North or East is preferred and one in west or south side should be avoided.

Industrial plot facing East and north are preferred over those facing west and south in general.  Significance of various directions is highlighted below which serves as basis for formulating the principles of Vaastu shastra.

Vaastu lays down guiding principle in selection of a plot with the proper shape & direction based on scientific reasoning, logic and common sense. Vaastu considers all directions good with each having their own energy field & influence. For example, take any village, town or city, roads are there in all four directions with houses on both sides of the roads. Dwellings look aesthetically balanced if houses are there in all the four directions. Hence, Vaastu considers all plots good.

Plot facing East is good for people involved in teaching / literary work as scholars, philosophers, priests, professors, teachers etc. as Morning sun rays are considered as source of enlightenment. Plot facing North is good for people involved in power, administration work as government employees. Plot facing South is good for people involved in business & management as management employees in business organizations. Plot facing West is good for people involved in providing support services to the society.

In ancient times, Indian society was divided into four classes of people based on their occupations and Vaastu attributed each direction to a different class of people. Over period of time, these classes evolved into castes having limited social interaction between the castes. People of each caste preferred being with their own people and grouped their homes together.

Industrial Plots having two or more roads.

It is good to have roads on all four sides of the plot – gives all round happiness to the native.

It is good to have more than one road.

North and east roads are the best.

South and west roads are good for business people.

South and east roads are good for women and women organizations.

According to Vastu shastra, fertile plot with greenery surrounding it is considered auspicious. Make sure that the plot doesn’t have any cracks.
