VASTU TIPS FOR GARAGE
Garage with as per proper Vaastu will have smooth running and long life of a vehicle. Proper planning and direction will save the unnecessary expense.
Vastu Guidelines for Garage
- Ideal location of the garage is the northwest or southeast part of house.
- Car placed in the garage located on west side of the northwest will result in lot of traveling.
- Floor level of the garage like rest of the house should be sloping towards the north or east direction.
- Ensure at least of 2 feet of walking space after car is parking for the movement of light and air.
- Avoid car parking in the northeast direction.
- Garage in the southwest would mean rare usage of the car. Your car would rarely come out of the parking space.
- Always park your car facing the north or east to ensure it would never get overheated / fire hazard which may occur for cars parked facing the south or west side.
- Gate of the garage should face the north or east with its gate height not more than the main gate. Also, it should open freely, i.e. there should not be any hindrance.
- Garage gate openings should be clear, allowing easy car accessibility.
- Light colors such as White, yellow, etc. are considered auspicious.
- Avoid storing waste material or inflammable material.
Vastu For Portico / Porch
- As alternative to constructing a garage will, construct a portico for car parking.
- Portico should be in the north or east of northeast for the plots facing north or east directions.
- Car parked facing north is good for businessmen while facing east is good for politicians, administrators and government officers.
