Bathroom and toilet are considered to give negative energy according to Vastu principles. Wrong placement of Bathrooms & toilet leads to complications and severe problems related to health and finance.
Hence one should abide by Vaastu principles when constructing or renovating bathroom / toilet in house so that the results do not disturb inmates.
Bathroom should be in the Eastern portion of the house. Pipe Fitting for the drained water should be in North-east. Bathtub must be located in West portion and provision for washbasin could be made in North-east. Bath should be taken in the west side. The slope of the bathroom floor should be towards north and east so water drains to the northeast side of the bathroom.
Shower and taps should be attached on Northern wall which is also suitable for mirror. Mirror can be on the East wall.
The toilets should be constructed in the Western portion of the house, as the north-west or south west side. In case of attached toilet & bathroom, W.C. (water cistern) should be in the West or North-west side and few inches above the ground.
Windows or ventilators should be in East or the North.
Bright and soothing colors for preferred
Overhead tank should be in South-west or northwest direction.
Dirty linens should be placed in the West Side while washing machine should be in southeast and northwest. Almirah (if placed) should be in Southwest while Geyser be placed in South-east corner.
