As per Vastu, Swimming pool, underground water tank, wells, bore-well etc. should be constructed in the Northeast, and alternatively in East or North towards Ishan (Northeast).
This will ensure that the inmates have good fortune, money, name & fame in the society etc.
The slope inside the pool should be from west to east if located in north and south to north if located at east side and finally nairuthi (Southwest) to Ishan (Northeast) if the swimming pool located at Ishan corner of the site.
