Vaastu Tips for Locker Room
Size and Shape of room: This is the starting point while considering locker room. Square or rectangular shapes are ideal and avoid Odd shaped rooms. Ensure that any side of the locker room is not extended. Also, the height of the locker room should not be less than that of other rooms.
Locker Direction: Location or positioning is also an important consideration. Locker or almirah should be placed along south wall of the room, except south-east and south-west corners. Avoid northeast corner as it may cause loss of wealth. Similarly, Southeast and northwest corner are to be avoided as it may result in unnecessary expenditure. Locker should have its back towards the south while the front facing the north
Locker Placement: After placing the locker in the right direction, make sure that locker is about an inch away from the wall and doesn’t stick to the wall. Locker should be about a foot away from the north-west or south-west corner. In case of space constraints, locker or almirah can also be placed in the east.
Locker room should ideally have single door comprising of two shutters. Though single shutter doors are currently more prominent, two shutters doors are considered more auspicious. Locker room door should face north or east but never in south-east, south-west, north-west and in south. Similarly, east and north is preferrable direction for windows.
